The name "Shivan Scimitar"orginates from a 1999 PC RPG game called War of Genesis 3 by Softmax.co.ltd. It is the name of a mercenary/ tactics group in the game which specialise in blitzkrieg-like manuevering tactics. This elite group is the toughest among all the resistance mecenary groups supporting a rebellion to overthow an evil emperior.

Start of Old Shivan Scimitar

The old Shivan Scimitar was created within a week after the launch of pk server. This made Shivan Scimitar one of the oldest guilds around in pk server. The Original Leader of "Shivan Scimitar" is shivan, a hunter. He created the guild with his friend, warkiller, a priest. Inital members of "Shivan Scimitar" were xiaoloki, Kila, Houyi, Mibu Kyo, Yang Guo, Asura striker and etc. During the times of old Shivan Scimitar, some of our guildmates, such as shivan himself, warkiller and xiaoloki distingushed themselves from the others as skilful players in pk. Shivan also brought the guild honor by positioning himself in the top 100 players in pk server after 2 weeks from launch.

Creation of New Shivan Scimitar

After the third week from pk server's launch, the new Shivan Scimitar, the branch guild, was created by Hou Yi, a hunter. The creation of this new and present Shivan Scimitar guild was to facilitate the expansion as well as to provide a nursery for new blood into the Shivan Scimitar family. The inital members are Yang Guo, Sawamura, Spirit monk and etc.

Decline of the old Shivan Scimitar

After one month from the launch in pk server, bad news struck Shivan Scimitar when shivan and warkiller confirmed their retirement from pk server to concentrate on their chars on the main server. Shivan's brother took over their accounts. Under the new management, the Old Shivan Scimitar was disband a few weeks after the launch of guild war in pk server.

Despite the disband of the main guild, the branch guild is quick to take over and is determined to stand as a independent guild. The problems of a small guild is its source of skilful players as most player are not willing to join a small union. Most players left us within hours after they join, thus posing another major problem- guild loyalty.

Under such hostile environment, Shivan Scimitar had survived and had gathered a loyal mature gaming community of average age around 20. Although all of us are either studying and working, most of us make an effort to login during our free time to spend some quality time gaming with fellow guildmates.

Present, we are allied with Eternal Destination, led by ultipriestmate, and her sister guild, Eternal Distance. Our guild average levels stands at level 75 now and is steadily increasing every week.

Shivan Scimitar is now preparing toward its participation in WoE to complete with established guild for its share of castles. Hopefully, we will be able to get a castle in the near future.
